Filling and Storage Guidelines

Filling

1. Follow directions printed on each WaterCube™.

2. Do not overfill or spill water between the inner plastic liner and the outer fiberboard box. (For easier filling, use a Fill Kit)

Optional Tamper-Evident Cap

For special applications requiring security, the WaterCube™ may be equipped with an extra screw cap with tamper-evident seal. To activate cap tamper seal, tighten cap firmly after filling.

Refilling Watercube™ After Storage Or Use

1. Remove old screw cap. Tamper-seal caps cannot be reused. Discard old cap and purchase new standard or tamper-seal caps (available from your WaterCube dealer). Standard WaterCube™ caps may be reused if inspected and found in good condition.

2. Carefully remove ALL remains of the old tamper-seal from the neck of the WaterCube™. (If necessary, try scraping with the edge of a credit card). Do not damage the sealing surface.

3. Refill WaterCube™ by following directions printed on the WaterCube™ and the steps above. (Use Water Preserver™ as recommended).

4. After filling, apply new cap and tighten firmly. Do not remove cap until ready to use water.

Storage

Keep dry. Do not store directly on a bare concrete floor. Use plastic sheeting on floor to block mineral salts and moisture. Filled WaterCubes™ may be stacked up to 4-high.

Note: Outside the home or office, the best storage for most emergency supplies is up off the floor, on pallets or shelving, or in weather-tight cargo containers. Stacked items should always be secured to prevent damage or injury if items should topple over.
